What do I need for beginners yoga?
When starting yoga, remembering all the equipment you need can be overwhelming. However, as a general rule, we recommend starting off with a yoga mat, block and belt. However, you could try one of our beginner starter kits which includes all these products. Start your yoga journey off the right way with our basic yoga collection. For eco conscious beginner yogis, we also have a range of sustainable yoga props, including those made from organic cotton and cork.

How can a beginner start yoga at home?
When looking to start practicing yoga at home, the best way to do this is to start by doing frequent, short periods of practice. This ensures you won't overdo this too early on. Start by doing 5 minutes of this and set yourself a small number of poses to work on, then slowly increase this over time. You should also ensure you're checking the alignment of your poses as you go. This is where yoga blocks, belts and bricks can come in handy. These are available in our range of beginner yoga props - which are great for helping you start your journey in the right way.

Should beginners do yoga every day?
If you're looking to get started with yoga as a beginner, the motivation of a group setting is the best way to do this. Beginners should therefore aim to attend one or two yoga classes a week and increase the frequency of this. However, if you prefer to practice yoga in the comfort of your own home, doing this for around 10-15 minutes every day and increasing the length of this can help to give you the best experience.
