Review #10

There are few things in life that are perfect, in my opinion. But there are the things that are so beautifully imperfect that they are exactly as they should be. This book has managed to attain that sense of perfection (along with Antonin Dvorak’s symphonies, sunsets, and love). Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare was the most wonderful conclusion to the trilogy that anyone could have asked for. This novel was full of fear, loss, heartbreak, sacrifice, honor, bravery, friendship, family, and most importantly; love. It never ceased to add more and more to the fascinating world of Shadowhunters. Never before has a story ended so excellently and left me thinking about the characters days after I’ve finished it. The minute I read the last page I started the book again so I could re-live it. Now, this is not my favorite book or series, although I LOVE it, I just want to declare it’s stunning sense of glory. Will, Tessa, and Jem are my OTLT (One True Love Triangle [I just made that up]) and I ship them to the stars and back.
